Privacy Policy
Your learning journey is personal. This policy explains what information Acadvik may collect, how we use and protect it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of https://acadvik.com and its related learning features, including study resources, current affairs, mock tests, courses, student accounts and digital products offered through the website (together, the âServicesâ). âAcadvikâ, âweâ, âusâ and âourâ refer to the operator of the Acadvik website. If a separate legal entity is identified on an invoice, order page or service agreement, that entity may also be responsible for the relevant transaction or service.
Please read this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy. It describes our intended practices; the specific information processed can depend on which features you use and which third-party services are enabled.
1. Information we may collect
- Account and contact details: name or display name, username, email address, and other details you submit when registering, signing in or contacting support.
- Learning and assessment data: courses or resources accessed, mock-test attempts, answers, scores, progress, saved preferences and related learning activity, where these features are used.
- Orders and payments: products or courses ordered, order identifiers, transaction references, payment status, refunds and related records. Payments may be handled by a payment provider. Do not send full card details, PINs, passwords or OTPs to Acadvik by email.

- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, approximate region inferred from an IP address, access times, pages viewed, security logs and cookie data, to the extent collected by the website, hosting provider or enabled tools.
- Information you choose to provide: any additional information submitted through a form, profile, comment, competition or other feature. Please provide only what is reasonably needed and avoid sharing sensitive personal information unless it is specifically required and a suitable process is provided.
You may be able to browse public pages without creating an account. Some features, purchases or learning services may require particular information. If you choose not to provide information that is necessary for a requested feature, that feature may not be available to you.
2. How we use information
Depending on the feature and applicable law, we may use information to:
- create and manage accounts, authenticate users and provide access to Services;
- deliver courses, study resources, mock tests, results, dashboards and learning progress features;
- process orders, confirm payments, provide digital products, handle refunds and maintain transaction records;

- maintain website functionality, troubleshoot errors, monitor performance and improve the user experience;
- protect the website and users, detect spam, fraud, abuse or security incidents, and enforce our terms;
- send optional news, updates or promotional communications where permitted; and
- comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims.
We aim to collect and use information for specific purposes and not retain it longer than reasonably necessary, subject to legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements.
3. Legal grounds, notices and consent
Where applicable, we process digital personal data in accordance with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules as they become applicable. Depending on the activity, processing may be based on valid consent, a permitted legitimate use under applicable law, the need to provide a service you request, or a legal obligation. Where consent or a specific notice is required, we will seek to provide it at the relevant point of collection. You may withdraw consent where the law provides that right; withdrawal may affect features that depend on the data, but does not invalidate processing already lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
4. Mock tests, results and public features
When you use a mock test, course or assessment feature, the website may associate your attempts, answers, scores and progress with your account so it can show results and support learning features. If a leaderboard, public profile, comment or similar public feature is available, information displayed there may be visible to other visitors. We aim to limit public display to information needed for that feature. Please avoid posting personal contact details or other private information in public areas.

Essential technologies may be needed for the website to work. Optional technologies should be managed through any consent controls we provide and/or your browser settings, as applicable. Blocking cookies may affect login or other site features. Third-party cookies and tools are governed by the relevant providerâs terms and privacy information.
6. When we share information
We do not intend to sell your personal information. We may share limited information, where necessary and appropriate, with:
- Service providers: website hosting, technical support, security, email delivery, analytics, storage and other providers helping operate the Services.
- Payment providers: providers processing transactions, payment status, refunds or fraud checks for purchases you make.
- Advertising and affiliate partners: only where such tools or programmes are enabled, and subject to applicable notices, choices and law.
- Professional advisers and authorities: where reasonably necessary for legal advice, accounting, compliance, a lawful request, or the protection of rights and safety.
- Business transfers: if the website or relevant business is reorganised, transferred or acquired, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
- At your direction or with your consent: where you ask us to connect a service or otherwise authorise sharing.
We aim to share only information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose. Service providers may process information under their own privacy terms and/or arrangements with us. When using an external service, please review the providerâs privacy policy. We do not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites linked from Acadvik.
7. Third-party services and payment security
Acadvik may use external providers to support payments, hosting, website functionality, email, analytics or other features. The providers actually involved may change as the website develops. When a payment is made, the provider may collect and process payment information under its own terms. Acadvik may receive transaction status, a reference number and order-related details to fulfil the purchase and maintain records. Do not assume that every payment or analytics provider is active at all times; check the relevant checkout or consent notice for the service being used.
8. International processing
Our website or service providers may process or store information in locations outside your state or country, depending on their infrastructure. Where cross-border processing occurs, we will handle it subject to applicable Indian law and any restrictions or safeguards that apply. We do not represent that all information is stored exclusively in India unless we expressly confirm that for a particular service.
9. Retention and deletion
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably needed to provide the relevant Services, maintain learning and account records, complete transactions, address support issues, protect security, resolve disputes and comply with legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or make it non-identifying, subject to backups, technical limitations and legal retention requirements.
You may request account or data deletion by emailing support@acadvik.com. Deletion may remove access to courses, results, purchases or other account-linked features. We may need to retain limited records where required by law or reasonably necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or maintain security. We will explain any material limitation where appropriate.
10. Your choices and privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to request access to information about your personal data, correction or updating of inaccurate information, erasure where permitted, withdrawal of consent where applicable, or other rights available under law. You may also opt out of optional promotional emails by using an unsubscribe link where provided or by emailing us. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and protect your account before acting on a request. We aim to respond within the time required by applicable law.
Essential account, transaction, security and legal messages may still be sent when necessary to provide a service or meet legal obligations, even if you opt out of marketing.
11. Children and younger learners
Acadvik offers exam-preparation content that may be relevant to learners of different ages. If a user is a child under applicable law, we will process their personal data only in accordance with the requirements that apply to Acadvik, including any required verifiable parental or guardian consent and applicable restrictions on tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising. We will not knowingly bypass legally required child-protection measures. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal data inappropriately may contact us at support@acadvik.com. We will assess the request and take appropriate action under applicable law.
12. Security and data incidents
We seek to use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password, sign out on shared devices and never share your password or OTP. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us promptly. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will take appropriate steps and provide notices or reports where required by applicable law.
13. AI-assisted features and user submissions
If Acadvik offers AI-assisted learning, question-generation or other automated features, information you submit to those features may be processed to provide the requested output and maintain safety or service quality. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, government identifiers or confidential information in prompts or learning forms. Where an external AI provider is used, its processing may also be subject to that providerâs terms and privacy policy. We will provide additional notice where required and update this section if the way these features process personal data materially changes.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our Services, providers, data practices or legal requirements change. The revised version will be published on this page with a new âLast updatedâ date. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will take steps required by applicable law.
15. Privacy questions and grievances
For privacy questions, data requests, consent withdrawal, account deletion or grievances about the handling of personal data, contact us at:
